Somehow last nite, i was unable to sleep due to curiousness to wait for surprise after adding eSATA card to one of our server.
The server rack look something like this.. (photo captured during HQ installation ~ one of the day in December )
While the site installation shall look something like this… (urban met station)
The purpose is mainly to convert those analog/manual data collection into an “un-manned” (automatic) weather system.
All sites (108 of them).. are sending to one HQ (server) at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
While I was fiddling with additional storage for server.. via eSATA.. the network utilization having a spike something like this.
(mind you. i was playing with it at 2.00a.m ~ muahaha)
.. and the next morning.. around afternoon, i think the team have just got motivated itself..
they went around to fix those ‘unfortunate’ sites,
and the result is ..
Woohoo.. it got 89 out of 108 station..running and connected to the HQ at this time .. muuahaha.. Congratulation ~
( I don’t know if this got some sort of relation to that SMS , (sent at 2.25a.m)
to the ‘site team’
.. telling that something along this line:
I am now done with the NISMOS-HQ.. it is now fully revived.take a good rest!".namran
then ~it was really effective… perhaps.. (muahahaha)
Well..anyway congratulation to the ‘site team’ for all the hardwork to finally bring us here today ~…
( a moment to celebrate and remember .. 8-) )
