Alhamdulillah..
Apabila diingatkan kembali asal usul kita.
Dari Mana dan mahu ke mana.
Hati menjadi kembali tenang.
Alhamdulillah ..
The installation of Oracle 11g R2 .. went on smoothly ..
except for database migration..
so we start the database from scratch and import back data from previous database backup.
It sort out the necessary conversion accordingly.
First few lines to get familiar with the new Oracle installation ..
Checking the oracle version is as such..
su - oracle sqlplus / as SYSDBA; |
su - oracle sqlplus / as SYSDBA;
followed by some SQL.
SELECT * FROM v$version; |
select * from v$version;
It shall have something like the following..
At first we thought the 100Gb size limit for flash_recovery_disk is sufficient enough to cover worth of 11Gb.
However… after we perform a backup test.
.. it doesn’t allow any new connection from remote..
But still can connect to it locally..
It complaining something about communication end-of-file.. some realm memory insufficient..
Later we found out that the archiver already used up the flash_recovery_disk space.. !!
so .. after digging out .. looking around..
we found the solution.. as we actually had more space on the disk.. only the limit is the config.
So we increase the flash recovery disk size with the following command :
su - oracle sqlplus / as SYSDBA |
su - oracle sqlplus / as SYSDBA
Followed by the …
ALTER system SET db_recovery_file_dest_size=200g scope=BOTH; |
ALTER system SET db_recovery_file_dest_size=200g scope=both;
Woohoo.. ! after that .. it back to normal again..
p/s : .. some other oracle useful command are…
su - oracle
emctl start dbconsole
netca
dbca |
su - oracle emctl start dbconsole netca dbca
hehe.. in case need to use that later.. 8-)
I just wanted to write and let “the day he left us” remembered for me & myself.
After the doc had pronounced his time of death.

Make sure you had the backup archive downloaded to somewhere safe before doing anything with the phone’s
firmware.
There is one app inside the market that allow the full backup.
search for “Titanium Backup”.
But that may need “root” (can be either “SoftRoot” first).
Transfer the archive files from sdcards into your pc/laptop.
It would be something like “data.img”.
Then download the “extractor” from below :
http://code.google.com/p/unyaffs/downloads/list
It may need to recompile first.
would be something like ..
gcc -o unyaffs unyaffs.c |
gcc -o unyaffs unyaffs.c
or if you had svn client ..
svn checkout http://unyaffs.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ unyaffs cd unyaffs gcc -o unyaffs unyaffs.c |
svn checkout http://unyaffs.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ unyaffs cd unyaffs gcc -o unyaffs unyaffs.c
then to extract the data.img is just
./unyaffs /home/namran/data/data.img |
./unyaffs /home/namran/data/data.img
(path to file should reflect the path to file ..)
it shall then created the folder and extracting all the content inside that archive.
something like below :

the SMS/MMS database reside somewhere under the following folders.
“/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db”
and all the attachment from MMS is stored under
“/data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/”
namran@nb-namran:~/nexus-one-data/data/com.android.providers.telephony$ find . . ./databases ./databases/telephony.db ./databases/mmssms.db ./shared_prefs ./shared_prefs/preferred-apn.xml ./lib ./app_parts ./app_parts/PART_1284111258517 ./app_parts/PART_1284683678596 ./app_parts/PART_1284683731880 ./app_parts/PART_1284685457572 ./app_parts/PART_1284685355626 ./app_parts/PART_1281176217164 ./app_parts/PART_1284689627986 ./app_parts/PART_1284720974895 ./app_parts/PART_1280655729505 ./app_parts/PART_1284685390163 ./app_parts/PART_1284111252801 ./app_parts/PART_1280652806795 ./app_parts/PART_1284685387300 |

and yes. it is a SQLLite DB i think.
to restore this SMS/MMS database to your phone.
Just re-transfer them to your phone
adb push ./data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db adb shell 'chown radio.radio /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db' adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db' adb shell 'mkdir -p /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/' adb push ./data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/ /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/ adb shell 'chown radio.radio -R /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts' adb shell 'chmod 775 -R /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts' |
adb push ./data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db adb shell 'chown radio.radio /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db' adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db' adb shell 'mkdir -p /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/' adb push ./data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/ /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts/ adb shell 'chown radio.radio -R /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts' adb shell 'chmod 775 -R /data/com.android.providers.telephony/app_parts'
for WIFI setting and password :
adb push ./misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf /data/misc/wifi/ |
adb push ./misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf /data/misc/wifi/
if the “Messages” is having “force close ” problem.. after restoring backup database.
you may need to run “Fix Permission” once. and reboot the phone.
or possibly can be fixed with just the following
adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.providers.telephony/mmssms.db' adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.providers.telephony/app_parts/*' |
adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.providers.telephony/mmssms.db' adb shell 'chmod 775 /data/com.providers.telephony/app_parts/*'
It was simplier than I thought.
All I did use is the 1-click method …
as explained at here..
I just download and install the “UniversalAndroot-1.6.2-beta5.apk”
After few minute playing with SoftRoot,
backing up the whole data with “Titanium Backup” app ,
then I decided to flash it permanently…
After flashing with RecoveryMod successfully , I installed the “ROM Manager” , downloaded from market.
then just choose CM 6.0.0 stable release..
the step is based on this article ..
One Click root for NexusOne»
within few minutes all done..
successfully rooted with CM ROM .. then I was installing the OpenVPN and market Enabler.
Multiple Desktop..
p/s : ..then my phone can do a lot of amazing thing.. including ..WORKS! haha
Note: I am not responsible for any damage you make to your phone. This is only a guide and by no means the complete and only way to flash CM.
Warning: If you flash CM, you will have to update your radio to the new one released with 2.2 unless you already updated it. Flashing this wrong could brick your phone and I am not responsible for any damages that occur to your device. I’m not going to into how to flash the radio. From here on out, I’m going to assume you already have the Froyo radio.
Once you root, the simplest way to install CM6 would be to download ROM Manager from the market and flash the recovery. Here are the steps:
1. Plug in your power cable and root using the 1-click root.
2. Search for ROM Manager on Market and Install
3. Open the app and allow the app to gain root access
4. Click the “Flash ClockworkMod Recovery” and wait until the progress bar is finished.
5. It might freeze or ask permissions midway or not work at all. In this case, just click the button again.
6. Then click the Download ROM under ROM Management of ROM Manager and select CyanogenMod.
7. Select the one you want. CM 6.0.0 are all Froyo 2.2 Release Candidates so may have bugs. CM 5.0.8 is the last stable release of Eclair 2.1
8. In edition to downloading CM, make sure you download the corresponding Google Apps as CM does not include GApps for copyright and licensing issues.
9. Afterwords, go back to the main menu and select “Install ROM from SD Card”.
10. Navigate to clockworkmod/download/mirror.kanged.net/… until you get to the ROM. It should be named somewhat like update-cm-6.0.0-N1-RC2-signed.zip
11. Click on it and click Add Zip. Then navigate to clockworkmod/download/kanged.net/… until you get to the GApps. It should be named somewhat like gapps-hdpi-FRF91-2-signed.zip
12. Click that and click OK.
13. When it prompts, choose to backup before flashing and give the backup a name like “Stock N1 Rooted”. Also choose to clear data and dalvik-cache.
14. Wait. It’ll reboot and go into the clockwork recovery and automatically queue and flash the two zips. Keep waiting until it reboots again.
15. Welcome to Cyanogen Mod.
We had lunch together today with almost everyone from Techsense.
Thanks to the Management.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Maaf zahir & batin.
P/s : .. got duit raya too.. !
