Downloaded the live version of Fedora Core 10… (637Mb) from local mirror….
it took about the same time with 3.7 Gb FC 10 from Singapore mirror.. I think the bandwidth is a bit limited for local mirror..
8 Mbps allocated for this mirroring purpose or something… compared to others is at least 10 or 100.. 1000. Mbps …hehehe
well.. here is the screenshot from FC 10 Live..
booting up a bit slow ..
and not that friendly… got blank screen for about 1-minute or two until the login screen appear…
I bumped into Kinokuniya @ KLCC last nite..
right after the PC Fair trip..
just wandering around and see if got interesting book to read there..
at the first glance seem the same as MPH..
but when getting into smaller section and really want to read a book..
turn out a lot of book are still wrapped up..
and most of the book are come with just one pair..
both of them still in their plastic wrap..
this would be different story compared to MPH..which sometime can see up to 5-10 same book at the shelf.. and at least one or least are already opened.. which is easier to review.. hehehe..
but nevertheless.. I found one book that would be interesting to read..
the title is “How to Talk Your Way to the Top” if not mistaken..
At first was just kinda flipping the book..
but the content seem to put real-life comparison on how the way
we say thing actually can drive the different response from the audience..
basically the “Yes” and “No”..
it took me about 45minute to start and stop at this spot..
without buying anything and to my surprise not even stopped by any of telco salesman/girl ..
only took one short quiz at Intel booth consist of
3 question as below:
1. What is the latest processor from Intel ?
a. Intel Centrino
b. Intel® Core™ i7
2. Do Intel® Core™ i7 suitable for high-end notebooks?
a. True
b. False
I heard a lot of people talking about our education system.. need improvement and all bla..bla…
condemn here and there.. well.. here I am not going to “attack” anyone.. i hope..
Google do have put certain amount of effort to get the education system right..
starting with digitizing the old book and making it appear online..
trying to buy the copyright ownership from the author or at least tried to find the original to settle the royalty payment for the book and all..
Hmm.. the result is ..
some year before it was not that big yet..

Abstract..
“A software process is defined as a sequence of steps that must be carried out by the human agents to pursue the
goals of software engineering. In order to achieve a precise specification of what these steps actually are, a
software process can be represented using a process modeling language (PML). A representation of the software
process in a PML is called a process model. Through a process enactment mechanism, which allows execution of
the process model, a software process can automate, guide, and enforce software engineering practices and
policies. These technologies are often collected together into what are referred to as process-centred
environments or process centred software engineering environments (PSEE). Over the past 12 years, there have
been many PSEEs (and PMLs) developed. However, the use of PSEEs and PMLs are not widespread. We envisage
that these technologies provide a vital support for software engineering in the future. This article surveys the
current state of the art of the PMLs including the second generation PMLs, which have not been included in other
surveys in the literature, and discusses the possible research agenda for future work in the area.”
woo hoo..~
not that bad at all..
